Has the president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, died? No, that's not true: no reputable source has reported such information. Recently, on May 19, 2023, Aleksandr Lukashenko attended an official meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada.

On May 15, 2023, a Belarusian state news channel published a video of President Lukashenko at what was described as a military command center. It was the president's first public appearance in almost a week, amid rumors and speculation of the leader being seriously ill.

The latest public appearance of Lukashenko, reported by the state media of Belarus, was on Friday, May 19, 2023, when he attended an official meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua Denis Moncada.
