Fact Check: NO Evidence Zelenskyy Is Dying From Severe Intoxication/Poisoning No Proof

Is Zelenskyy dying from severe intoxication? No, that's not true: The photo used as evidence of the allegedly poor condition of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a freeze frame from his video message on the 52nd day of the war in Ukraine, which had - as of this writing - continued for more than a year since that video message was recorded. The claim was made without providing credible independent sources of expert information or documentation nor even the purported "doctors".

The claim appeared in an April 26, 2023 video (archived here) published by user @newspolitics under the title "Shock! Zelenskyy dies from severe intoxication.". It opened:

The rapid deterioration in the appearance of the Ukrainian President, which is becoming more and more noticeable in his video messages, has received its explanation. According to the doctors, the gray complexion, shortness of breath and the extinct look of Vladimir Zelenskyy are the result of severe poisoning with certain "medicines." At the same time, the process of intoxication is already becoming irreversible, and therefore requires immediate ...

The low-resolution freeze frame was taken from an unflattering low angle.

As it is more than one year out-of-date, even if it were high-quality enough for diagnostic evaluation it would have to be paired with current information in order to show changes in the Ukrainian president's condition.

Zelenskyy outwardly shows no sign of slowing down. In 2023, news reports captured his appearances in London, Paris, Brussels and two cities in Poland.

He is active on social media, mosting news and video messages, welcomes guests to Ukraine and makes statements. Therefore, there is no reason to believe in the "intoxication" of the President. No information was found on the official websites of Ukraine about President's health and the TikTok post provided no documentary, eyewitness or other evidence.
